As a native of western Pennsylvania, Jeanne Doperak, DO, was delighted to join the UPMC Sports Medicine Team.

She earned undergraduate and medical degrees at Allegheny College and the Philadelphia College of Osetopathic Medicine, respectively. Dr. Doperak followed her family medicine residency at Latrobe Area Hospital with a primary care sports medicine fellowship at UPMC Shadyside.

In addition to serving as the head team physician for Seton Hill University and St. Vincent College, she is an assistant. team physician at Carnegie Mellon University.

Dr. Doperak is a member of the UPMC Center for Sports Medicine faculty and an assistant professor with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedics. In her role as "residency liaison," Dr. Doperak helps facilitate resident involvement in the fellowship program and coordinates the family medicine resident rotations and curriculum in orthopaedics and sports medicine.
